HOW TO FIND US

OUR POSTAL ADDRESS:
BCCS c/o Bradford Magistrates' Court, PO Box 187, the Tyrls, Bradford BD1 1JL

COURT OPENING HOURS:
The court is open to members of the public on Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 12:30 and from 13:30 - 16:30. Saturdays from 08:30 - 12:00

COURT SITTING
Courts begin sitting at 10:00 in the morning and at 14:00 in the afternoon.

TIMING
Although you may have been told to come to court at 09:30 or 13:30 it is possible that your case will not be heard immediately. This can be for any number of reasons. You should come prepared for a wait. There is a café on site where you can buy refreshments at a reasonable price.

CHILDREN
The Magistrates' court is not a suitable environment for young children. It has NO crèche or play area facilities. If you have small children you need to know that they will not be allowed in court. You should make arrangements for someone to care for them while you attend court.

SECURITY
All members of the public (including solicitors and prosecutors) must clear security screening before entering court. (This is very similar to the screening you may have seen at airports.)

CHAPLAINCY OFFICE
The Chaplaincy Office is on the ground floor on the left hand side of the corridor leading from the security screening area. Please feel free to call in to the office. (Link to plan)
