Pastor Chris Frost joined the Chaplaincy team in April. Chris, an elder at Gateway Church in Leeds, oversees the congregation as part of a team. Following work in television and marketing Chris became a full time church worker in 2008.

Chris left the service in September having been offered a full time permanent role within the Gateway Church. His wife, Jo, gave birth to their second child, a son Oliver in October. Many congratulations to Chris, Jo and Poppy on their new addition to the family. Chris was a great asset to our Team and we were sad to see him go but understand his need to provide his Commissioning 29th November. Moina Bernard was appointed to the role of Christian Chaplain in November, and was commissioned on 29th November at Crown Court. Moina was brought up in Bradford and worked for many years as a florist in Keighley. She moved to Sussex to work for a Christian missionary organisation – Youth With A Mission – and served for 15 years as a discipleship training leader. Her role also involved running a personnel department for missionaries serving overseas. In 2007 Moina moved back north to train as a Priest in the Church of England, studying in Durham, and was ordained in Bradford in 2009, working since as a Curate in the parish of Tong and Holmewood.

BCCS is pleased to announce we have also appointed a further Chaplain to work along side Latif & Moina. Tony Goodwin will join the service in early January 2013. Photo Right: Commissioning 29th November. Moina with Lord Mayor of Bradford and Mary Carroll.
